Harmony – har·mo·ny: agreement of ideas, feelings, or actions, or a pleasing combination of different parts. On the one hand “Harmony” and on the other hand “Difference”. Both of these can live together……
The development of women leaders has been a significant focus globally as societies recognize the importance of gender equality in all sectors. Several initiatives, strategies, and discussions are aimed at fostering the development of women leaders. We are often asked why do you focus on women leaders and our answer is that it’s going to take over one hundred years to close the gender gap and that’s not acceptable to us.

Today I had the pleasure of attending the Women On Their Way Summit 2023! The agenda, stage and room was packed with powerful, authentic and confident women leaders (C-Suite, Board, Directors and more); many of whom were also published authors. On March 8th, 2024, I attended a virtual International Women’s Day Celebration hosted by the McGuckin Group and Women On Their Way. Some great insights were shared by the panelists and the participants and my favorite takeaway is here, “Women leaders have been the secret ingredient to success, as 10% of companies that have high financial performance have women in leadership. It is time that we stop ignoring the obvious gaps in organizations that do not allow women to succeed to the level that they deserve. As leaders, it is pivotal that we listen to the needs of our women leaders and make active steps moving forward.” I’m excited to continue learning more about the McGuckin Group and WOTW and the work they do to support women leaders.
